- First National Buildings Inc. -- Mindy Tene and Gretchen Harms
In 2008, First National Buildings replaced their Palm Mobile Work Request Management System with a Blackberry Work Request Management System. The system was developed by Horizant, using their NOMAD framework, with the assistance of BRG. This solution allows users to create, review, and update work requests on a Blackberry, as well as to view and manage worker time on a daily basis (as per request of FNBI). The commitment to this project by all parties involved, and specifically at FNBI, produced a quality product and is a model for future successful implementations. - Oklahoma State University, ARCHIBUS Solution Center Environment + Sustainability Services, ESRI
Oklahoma State University is cited for their work with ASC - E+SS for defining the requirements for the Green Building solution, as well as their deployment of the TEAMS Clean Building application and Web Central to create a comprehensive asbestos management program. The result has been more effective risk mitigation through the enhanced protection of staff, students and workers. This has saved the University money by avoiding duplicative asbestos survey efforts.
Application Excellence Award
This award is being presented to the organizations that have demonstrated a unique, innovative application of the ARCHIBUS software to their company's own needs and overall structure. All of these organizations can be viewed as explorers and visionaries who, early on, had the courage to "push the envelope" and "see outside of the box." None of them are new to the challenges and rewards of TIFM and IWMS.
